Billy in Winter
While the winter storm was raging yesterday, I looked out the door to our deck and saw Billy sitting quietly on the top step to the yard as if he were enjoying the snowscape before him. Turns out he was sitting guard over Sophie, who was digging snow tunnels at the base of the steps. He will NOT allow Sophie to go out in the snow without him.
Once he herded Sophie back indoors (without wiping her feet) . . .
. . . he settled down by a heater to dry off. What a good dog!
